Right click on the Local area connection icon or wireless adapter and enable it.
Click on “Change adapter settings” on the left side.
Click Start> Control Panel> Network and Sharing Center.
Press OK, and perform a system restart.
To select which processes to eliminate manually, you can go to the Startup tab and uncheck them individually.
To disable all startup processes, uncheck the “load system services” and “load start up items” check boxes.
To perform a general selective startup, under the General tab, click Selective Startup.
You can choose to do a general tab “Selective Startup” or manually eliminate programs from automatically starting on the startup tab.
Press the Windows Key + R, and type “msconfig” and hit enter.
You may have to re-enable the adapter manually after restart if you cannot connect to the internet. Note: Disabling all startup programs may disable your internet adapter. You can disable all startup programs, or disable some of them. There are multiple ways that this can be approached. By temporarily disabling these programs from booting, they can be eliminated as the source of the problem. Some third-party programs running in the background can interfere with the normal functionality of Grey Box games, and may even prevent them from running at all.
